Reading Rulers
"I bought a set of 10 reading rulers for my 8 year old son who is really struggling to read and has been diagnosed with Dyslexia. He also suffers with poor concentration. We use the rulers to read and have been able to select 4 that are better than the rest. The ruler also focuses on one line only rather than the whole page which helps a lot. This Listing is for a set of the first 100 high frequency word cards, in a tin. Each card is colour coded for the different parts of speech, ie noun, verb conjunction etc
The cards are packed in a metal tin, similar to a pencil case, and the enclosed cards are in bags.
The cards have a wipe clean surface that can be written in with a dry-wipe pen. The first 100 word cards are colour-coded for parts of speech, so that grammar terms and concepts can be taught where appropriate, while younger children can be taught the general principal that "different words have different colours because they do different jobs in the sentence."
Ten words from the list are repeated to facilitate playing a sentence building game, that helps children attain the goal of SPELLING THE FIRST HUNDRED WORDS IN SENTENCES.
INCLUDES INSTRUCTIONS FOR GAMES 2-4 players age 5 and up. There are actually 110 cards in the box as some words have been repeated for the games from the dyslexia resources shop, help your child to read
