Mental Maths dry wipe cards with 330 questions and timed answer record card

This listing is for a set 12x cards of mental maths cards, ks1, ks2 levels.

Each card includes 30 mental maths questions and the answers can be writte on and wiped off with a dry wipe card.

This set and dry wipe pen avaialbale in the dyslexia consultants store.

Examples of cards

numbers to 10 : 4 + _ =10 (number bonds)

subtracting numbers to 5 : 5-2 = _

Addition and subtraction :8 -3 = _ or 10 +7 = _ (2 cards)

Doubles : twice 4 = _ great for maths language double 7=_

Adding numbers up to 5 : 4+3 = _

Subtracting up to 10

Adding numbers upto 10 : 10+ 7= _

Subtracting numbers upto 5 : 5-3= _

Subtracting numbers up to 10 : 10-8 =_

These seem a bit easy?

As a teacher i can tell you that yes they are relatively easy, although chanes are on each card of 30 questions several will be wrong.... but to succeed at maths it is speed and automacity that counts.

If your child can do this sums without thinking then when maths gets harder eg

(10-6)+ (4-3)=

they will be able to concentrate on the question rather than figuring out 'painfully' each separate part of the sum.

A must to increase confindence in maths basics which sadly schools don't spend enough time on since we are too busy teaching them other stuff!!!!
