Coloured reading rulers and overlays are flavour of the month just now. Following a tv programme on BBC3 with tara tomkinson?
who is a dyslexic actress - used to be on Eastenders i understand.
Well we offer Coloured A4 overlays, Coloured reading rulers, computer software etc etc all designed for irlen, visual dyslexia issues.
Do they work?
Well from experience some people say they are amazong whilst others tell of no change.
I have witnessed amazing results when using the coloured overlays/reading rulers with students, but i have also found some students do not like them at all.
Me, i must confess that i use the A4 gold pukka pad, i am drawn to it for some reason, so i did pick up a yellow reading ruler but no did nothing for me.
