What is ?

HOO HA! is an easy to play, fun and engaging visual memory card game that helps children learn their times and tables non-sequentially.

HOO HA! uses four learning styles: aural, oral, visual and kinaesthetic to aid recall, improve concentration and develop spatial awareness and reasoning.

HOO HA! encourages ‘automaticity’ so overcoming the problem of skip counting and rote learning. It uses collocation to reinforce recall and promote the importance of speaking and listening in maths, which is often overlooked.

HOO HA! helps to build confidence, this is because as there is no pressure to instantly recall, this in turn really helps children to engage and before they know it, they will be muttering all the answers.

HOO HA! follows the guidelines set out by the ‘National Strategies for Education’ and the box sets are grouped in accordance with the way children are taught their times tables in school, with a box set for Key Stage 1 through to Key Stage 3.
